Best Gujarati food you can find in Europe. Love the Gujarati thali and few other dishes as well. Host was super friendly and recommended the right dishes. Will definitely visit again!

Not my first time at Shree Ram, but this time was even more impressive, so I felt compelled to share! Over the weekend I was part of a birthday celebration with more than 30 excited and slightly chaotic guests - the staff handled everything from start to finish with impeccable professionalism and excellent sense of humour! The food was delicious as always! I highly recommend the Baigan Bhartha (aubergine curry) for its smokiness and the Bhindi Masala (okra curry), because well-cooked okra is hard to find! I added Peshwari naan and Salty lassy to complete the meal! Yum!

Absolute gem of a place Best Indian food that I have had in Europe so far We ordered Paneer Toofani, baingan bharta, Rotla and masala chaas - everything was as good as you would get in India The waiter and the owner both were really courteous and lovely to speak with Would highly recommend …

Indian food restaurant. Room with a pleasant atmosphere. Attentive service. Varied menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes. One of my favorite dishes is the Tofu Panner, the velvety texture with a slight spicy touch, served with Garlic Nan, almost provides a fleeting "teleported" trip 😁 round trip to India and back. I recommend it!... Very good!... and to repeat regularly 😊

Alpa Parekh's journey to culinary success began in the vibrant city of Surat, where the aroma of spices filled her childhood home. Her earliest memories are in the warmth of her grandmother’s kitchen, where, while her friends played outside, Alpa was inside learning to mix masalas and understand the magic of Indian spices. Her grandmother's stories and recipes inspired a love for cooking that would shape Alpa’s future in unexpected ways.

In 2016, Alpa moved to Portugal with her husband, driven by a shared dream to bring authentic, vegetarian Indian cuisine to a new country. Settling in a foreign land was challenging, but the vision of opening her own restaurant fueled Alpa’s determination. Her heart remained in India, with the traditional recipes and blessings of her family and guruji guiding her every step.

Finally, in 2019, her dream took form with the opening of Shree Raam restaurant. For Alpa, it was more than just a business; it was the culmination of years of dedication, a space where she could infuse her creations with both heritage and innovation. Since then, Shree Raam has become known for its unique dishes, blending traditional flavours with creative twists that celebrate the heart of Indian vegetarian cuisine in Portugal.
